Cattleya Jungle Eyes – Maybe the prettiest Orchid I own?

Here is my pride and joy, the one and only, Cattleya (Lc) Jungle Eyes! A spotted cross between Cattleya Jungle Elf and Cattleya aclandiae.

The flower has been opened for about 2 days now so the fragrance is not fully developed yet, but it smells like citrus with something sweet, but the plastic overall scent didn’t go away just yet. Many Catts seem to have this plastic thing to them for a few days, but it does go away, will update this once the fragrance is matured.

This orchid is just a super easy grower, grows new pseudobulbs in about 1.5-2 months, she is lightning fast!

I think I can call her a mini Cattleya, so a place in a window sill is easy to find for this beauty 🙂
