Today we welcome some new ‘chids to the collection and they are both Vandas! what better orchid to order in the heat of the summer 🙂

In order of appearance, the 2 new orchids are:
1. Rhynchocentrum Ladda Gold, a small sized Vandaceous orchid that produces tiny, orange yellow flowers that, maybe, are fragrant too.
2. Vanda denisoniaia Cream Shinetorn, a bit of a replacement for my unknown denisoniana, since the nursery messed up some labels and I have no idea what orchid I have.
Both of these orchids are mature and pretty old orchids, this is a bit of an advantage if you have the space. Since I am going through a ‘specimen orchid’ phase at the moment, they fit quite well in the greenhouse 🙂
