In full bloom – Aerangis citrata Orchid, petite, white and adorable
Today we have a lovely mini orchid in bloom that puts a big smile on my face every day 😀

The Aerangis citrata is an orchid species endemic to Madagascar, more info on it here http://www.orchidspecies.com/aerangiscitrata.htm
It is a miniature orchid, easy to grow even in a home with a very showy flower display. The blooms are tiny too but the number is certainly impressive! This Aerangis can produce long, pendulous flower spikes that can hold up to 40 flowers!
Although it is supposed to be fragrant, many individuals do not have a fragrance. Mine doesn’t smell at all but it still is a very pretty orchid indeed!
