Potting Vanda Orchid in Orchitop pot and hydroton
So far I have been growing Vanda orchids in a hanging basket, but this means daily soaking. I want to bypass this and since I had good result with a vandaceous orchidS in Orchitop pots, I will try this again.

My Vanda denisoniana is potted in the large size Orchitop pot in the color white (which I do prefer over any other). I used only hydroton clay pebbles and also used packing peanuts in the center. This will keep the core more ventilated.
Even if I won’t be able to water my Vanda by placing water in the tray, it still offers much much more humidity and time saved on watering, so I am a happy orchid grower with this set up 🙂
