A while back the Phalaenopsis Singolo was claiming to be the first one flowered Phalaenopsis. It was the first alright, the first to be sold with a cut flower spike. More about it here https://youtu.be/6yELF9khbHg
I recently acquired another one and had it rebloom on a secondary spike with the same big flowers https://youtu.be/rreVNk1ADeU
The strange thing in its evolution is not related to the flower, but tot he structures. Both leaves and roots look like they want to grow, but something holds them back. Thus they have a ‘crowded’ look. I am not sure if they will ever look normal, but we will see.
