The flowers are smaller than usual flower shop Phalaenopsis, but have a thick, waxy texture which is very appealing. There isn’t much of a sweet fragrance, but the scent is interesting so far.
Novelty Phalaenopsis hybrids bring brighter, more long lasting color and often times a lovely fragrance. The compact flower spikes are much more suited for smaller spaces, although these orchids can grow very large too.. just slower 😛
