A variegated Cattleya Orchid! – Repotting a new Orchid

Today we take a look at quite an extraordinary orchid, a completely variegated Cattleya Orchid!

Cattleya Moscombe is quite a unique Cattleya, as not many of them present a variegation. Today I unpotted it from sphagnum moss, as there is new growth on the way. Here is how I deal with pot bound orchids https://youtu.be/iAnx1bLltBc

Semi hydroponics is the best setup I tried for Cattleyas in my environment, so this is what I will use for this one as well. Variegation doesn’t make a plant weaker, maybe just less vigorous, but I will keep a close I on ky jewel!
