Here is a final update on my experiment with inducing new growth on my Cattleya orchid. I think it worked 🙂
The division I made produced a new growth of its own, so this technique might come in handy when you are dealing with a Cattleya with one long rhizome and you’d like the plant to be more bushy.
Keep in mind the orchid needs to be healthy before doing this!
