My first Vinicolor Paphiopedilum orchid! (Maudiae x Charlesworthii)
So here is my very first Vinicolor Paphiopedilum! now the name vinicolor describes a Paph. that has the coloration of wine, dark purple colors.
My particular hybrid appears to be a complex one, having the parentage Raisin Jack x gloriosum x Maudiae vinicolor x charlesworthii. Much wow 🙂
It is not a fragrant orchid, but the color is spectacular and the foliage is very dark green. The Flower is glossy all the way, unlike other Paphs and overall it’s a stunning orchid that can produce even 2 flowers per spike!
