My Orchids Then & Now #4 – The amazing evolution of the Dendrobium Phalaenopsis

Today it’s time to look back again at the Dendrobium Phalaenopsis types and see what has changed.. and a lot did!

The Dendrobium Phalaenopsis are a collection I bought with not a great deal of roots. Here is an example https://youtu.be/VOyrXaL2-FU

I have kept them all in my growing space and they did ok, they grew at a very slow pase though. Only the Purple Happiness bloomed last year from the ones I bought here https://youtu.be/s-WlsfzsaRM but overall they did not excel https://youtu.be/URvzJ9wX13A

Ever since I placed them outside they sped up growth and now they are riddled with flower spikes! Well who would have thought :))
