Orchids in bloom – August 2015
So here are the orchids that were in bloom in August 2015, well at least the ones that I managed to catch while I was at home 🙂
The Phalaenopsis violacea bloomed for the first time, she has a pretty little flower with a big fragrance, sweet and cinnamony.
Phalaenopsis bellina is in bloom once again, this one blooms all through the summer and release a wonderful fruity scent, just mouth watering.
The NoID red Cattleya, she has to be one of my favorites! I am sorry we don’t have a name for it, but this complex hybrid has an absolutely fantastic fragrance and has the most shimmery flowers I’ve ever seen!
Phalaenopsis tetraspis c1 or speciosa, again with a lovely white and red flower. Hoping for better blooms next year!
