Orchids in bloom – August 2016

Here are the orchids that bloomed in August 2016, some first bloomers, some veterans as well. Check bellow for a list of names!

In order of appearance:
Aliceara Pacfic Nova – A nicely colored Brassia cross that rebloomed after 2 years https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRxA0swNqSc

Phalaenopsis bellina – it feels there is no summer month without her lovely fragrance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SyRmr8cFQRU

Phalaenopsis Karen Annie – a primary hybrid that is spoiling me with an abundance of buds and flowers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bsZxjehaag

Tolumnia Dapple, this time the blooms latest for a long long time, too bad this one isn’t fragrant https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-S9yRPAG2o

One of my complex hybrids Phals is still in bloom and also Hoya pubycalix Red Button rebloomed, quite lovely show on the IKEA stand 🙂

Some more opening up or still developing buds are Phalaenopsis fasciata, Cattleya Monte Elegante, Miltassia Shelob Tolkien and Cycnodes Wine Delight.
