Orchids in bloom! September 2015
here are the orchids that have been in full bloom for the month of September:
Cycnodes Wine Delight, a must have if you want to pick up Catasetum orchids. It now works on 2 more flower spikes! 3 spikes a year? not bad 🙂
Miltonia Sunset in bloom once again. Don’t confuse this one with Miltoniopsis, they are totally different!
Prostechea Green Hornet is a first time bloomer. Beautiful flowers but the smell is horrible 🙁
Oncidium Katrin Zoch, always a bloomer around this time. Each pseudobulb can produce 4 spikes at once!
A pink noID Cattleya that smells like lilies and roses, can you even imagine that? it is wonderful! This is the second year she blooms for me.
Vanda Pachara Delight, second bloom this year. The most reliable orchid in my collection, no words to describe her 🙂
Oncidesa Sweet Sugar is my first ever Oncidium and she blooms reliably with many pretty yellow flowers.
Phalaenopsis bellina is my favorite Phal, she was in bloom all summer long and filled my balcony with the most amazing fragrance!
