It is autumn and Phalaenopsis orchids should be spiking at this time right? well not around here they don;t 🙂 they are growing leaves!

Over the past months my Phalaenopsis orchids rejuvinated from their innitial state whioch you can view here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-v3LXNK1xmo and here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDK4LbMEZNc
But they are not showing signs of stopping, as the prolonged summer goes on they are growing new leaves and tons of roots. No spikes!
This is not all that bad though, as more leaves mean more energy, more food and.. many places for multiple spikes! so when temperatures do decide to go lower we will see how they will react, hope for multiple spikes!
