Removing and potting Phalaenopsis Orchid keiki
My Phalaenopsis orchid has a spike keiki that needs to be removed fast, as it’s draining too much energy from it. Here is how I would go about it.

In order to save the keiki it must be removed when it has at least 2 leaves and about 3 or 4 10 cm long roots. Remove it too early, especially when it has no roots and it might not make it, or it might grow very slow.
Cutting the spike will make sure the keiki is intact, so don;t try twist it from the spike. Medium should be airy, as the roots are aerial and are not adjusted to high amounts of moisture. Pack it in moss and they will definitely rot.
I would go for bark and other very ventilated media, but moss can work too in dry and warm environments. Here is a video about how to properly use sphagnum moss https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RcCqd3FEWpA&t=1s
