Saving Debdrobium Phalaenopsis Orchid with no roots
As predicted, the discounted Dendrobium Blue Happiness has a serious issue root wise. The good thing is these orchids are pretty hardy, so it has great chances to bounce back beautifully.

The medium inside was made of coconut fiber, or choir.. it was very fine and eventually it suffocated all the roots. I also see some snail damage, so this calls for H2O2 3%!
I cut away all the dead roots as they would only spoil the new medium. Sprayed the base of the orchid with hydrogen peroxide and we are ready to pot.
My medium of choice is inorganic, seramis and leca in a mix of about 50-50. Maybe a bit more seramis since the layer on top is made mostly out of seramis.
I secured the orchid with some bamboo skewers and I intend to keep the top of the medium always damp and keep this orchid in bright shade for now.
