Time for an update on this sick Phalaenopsis I received earlier this summer and, sadly, she did not recover too well :((

So the problem is this one decided it’s a good idea to throw 3 keikis instead of some new roots.. very poor decision. If you missed the video on this one check it out here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWq8l1b3hDc
All the keikis are basal and only one has roots, so today we will remove it in hopes the orchid will be relieved of the stress. I used an exacto knife that did the job perfectly and potted the keiki separately.
As for the mother orchid I don’t know if she will make it, it appears the stem just died and this would explain why she is not getting hydrated by her only root at all. This will probably be subject for a different video.
