Vanda Orchid seedlings update – Maybe not for me?

Today we take a look at my very young Orchids, the Vanda seedlings. As always, things are not only perfect.

First off, my deflasked seedlings are not doing that well, they do seem to adjust very slow and I don;t think I helped. I have issues with the moisture and air ratio at this stage, so I need to try something else.

The older seedlings however are in great condition! In order of appearance they are:
1. Vanda luzonica
2. Rhynchostylis coelestis blue
3. Vanda tricolor var. alba
4. Vanda tricolor var. suavis
5. Rhynchostylis gigantea spots

In a few years we will probably get to see their blooms, as Vanda seedlings are slow growing plants. So be sure to keep this in mind before purchase 😉
