So here is a rather soon update on the Vanda Orchids in bags situation. Well it didn’t take me much to figure out if I like it or not.

And the verdict is nope, I don’t like it. The bags don’t stay as moist as I expected. They also warm up a bit too much due to the sunlight and that can cook the roots.
I also managed to break quite a few root tips by moving the bag around to wet all roots.
I am back to daily soaks in buckets and that’s how it will probably stay 🙂
