Why Phalaenopsis Orchid flowers sometimes lose their colour?
Sometimes Phalaenopsis orchids can lose the bright coloration on their flowers. Why does that happen? The 2 most common reasons are:
1. Genetics: Some Orchids will lose their intense colour no matter what, it’s just the nature of the hybrid
2. Stress: Especially with new Orchids, buds that will open in your home can look less pretty than the ones already open. It’s just temporary, next flowering will be great!
